It has been a season filled with ups and downs so far, with last night’s against Atalanta being one of the latter, and a proper analysis is now ready. As highlighted by Daniele Longo, there are several culprits at play here.
Atalanta clinched an important win in the Scudetto race thanks to Ademola Lookman’s late goal, while Milan left yet another game with doubts and regrets. Between the two clubs, there is a clear gap in terms of organisation, conviction, enthusiasm and depth of the squad, as Longo highlights.
For Milan, the disappointment is great and a 360-degree analysis is now needed to understand how they ended up here. From option for Fonseca instead of a world-class coach, to signing the likes of Emerson Royal and Strajhinja Pavlovic, there are many culprits involved.
Furthermore, the poor attitude of certain players at the start of the season should not be forgotten either, as Fonseca had to work really hard to get everyone in line (Rafael Leao, for example). The manager has many faults, as Longo continues, but he’s not the only one responsible.
Currently, Milan are 12 points behind Atalanta in the league and the reality is that they can only see the Conference League at the moment. Even the Champions League seems like a very difficult target, which says it all.
The algorithm does the analysis for them and it probably says we’re having a great season. Our coach, who I’m pretty sure is starting to lose his mind under the pressure, claims we’re scudetto material. There’s nothing to worry about.
Only Lucky for Milan is Seria A schedule… because Lazio has the hardest match at the end of the half of season, respectively in the end of the season they play Napoli, Atalanta and Inter. Those 3 teams will fight for scudetto and Lazio in my opinion has no chance… there is also Fiorentina who has great momentum, in my eyes they play every strong team at home +has match against Inter postponed… we can only hope for 5 CL places and our real strong oponent will be Juventus..
We must be optimistic because this is our only chance
Juventus has not lost any games it kinda suggests they have a strong defence unlike us. At some point they will start looking good in attack. The difference between a good coach and a mediocre mid table coach like Fonseca is, a good coach can build a strong defence and doesn’t loose many games.
I think Motta is not a good coach, he has more Lucky then us but he is not that good how he look before season. But yes definitely in some points they are better… specially in defending. But their main problem is attack and bench players.. if we add some good players , second half of season can be better and still, I think we and Juve will fight for 4th and 5th place
Hahaha well they saved in salary for Fonseca compared to Pioli ?
This is good for Milan. Milan is club that will never disappear. And who needs to leave is: Fonseca, GorlamiFurlani, Cardinali and redbirds.
When they leave and they will when starts losing money, everyone in Milan wins.
get fonseca out of this ckub
