Samuel Chukwueze scored the winner for AC Milan in their game against Udinese last night. After a tough start to the season, this was crucial for the winger and he’s now open to fully convince the Rossoneri management.

It didn’t take long for Milan to strike against the Friuli side and they did so through Chukwueze, who fired a composed finish past the goalkeeper. In our player ratings, he was named the MOTM for his performance and hopefully, he’s now on the right path.

According to Daniele Longo, Chukwueze rejected hefty offers from Saudi Arabia in order to join Milan in the summer of 2023. More specifically, he was offered over €10m per season by two different clubs, but he made it clear to his entourage that he only wanted the Rosoneri.

Recently, given the struggles with the red and black shirt, Saudi clubs reached out to the entourage yet again but Chukwueze shut the door this time as well. On the other hand, it’s clear that Milan will evaluate any opportunities on the mercato.

As such, the only way for Chukwueze to stay at Milan is to showcase ‘total and definitive growth’. Yesterday’s clash was a big step in the right direction and as the reports also states, he has been working better in training recently.

  1. The biggest problem is Milan transfer strategy. Let’s remember they bring Dest for 6mil gross salary, and this year is Abraham. It is the same transfer logic.
Now any new arrival in case of Chukwueze departure means that they will not spend more than 20 million, so it is questionable how that new potential player going to be effective on the pitch.

But we can see Milan just started to create team. With Elliott Milan had a lot of players arrivals on loan, now club own almost all players. We have stronger bench and now only injuries must be solved.
