Bayern Munich defender Lucas Hernandez has replied to his brother Theo Hernandez’s invitation to join him at AC Milan, instead claiming they should reunite in Bavaria.
Theo last summer from Real Madrid and has already established himself as one of the best full-backs in Serie A if not in Europe, having netted six times in all competitions this season making him the club’s second-top scorer behind Ante Rebic.
The left-back participated in a Q&A with the fans on AC Milan’s official Instagram profile, and the questions and answers were translated by us, which you can read in full here.
He was asked a question about the possibility of playing with his brother once again, with Lucas Hernandez having joined Bayern for a fee of €80m back in 2018.
“It would be a dream, we did it [played together] in the youth team, we were kids and I hope to play together again in the future. If he is at Milan, even better,” Theo said.
However now Lucas has replied on Twitter, and it doesn’t seem like a move to Serie A is on the horizon for him any time soon. In fact, he invited his sibling to join him in Germany.
