Tuttosport: Maldini wants to close signing in next 10 days with €30m offer ready

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to sign Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge and Paolo Maldini is readying the latest offer, according to a report.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), De Ketelaere is the name at the top of Milan’s wish list as the 21-year-old attacking midfielder is seen as the perfect fit. After the first offer of €20m plus bonuses was rejected, the Rossoneri are ready to make a new bid.

The paper adds that Milan should put around €30m on the table with the inclusion of perhaps one or two counterparts given that Brugge greatly admire some of the young Rossoneri players, such as Primavera goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal and striker Emil Roback.

Maldini and Ricky Massara want to accelerate and close the operation for De Ketelaere within ten days, if not sooner. The player has already said yes to Milan and has said no to Leeds, who have already presented a very bid offer to the Belgian club.

  1. However, in the transfermarket says there is a progressively 58% chance that he will go to leicster city fc. And no italian club at that page.

      1. Transfermarkt is actually pretty great for stats in regard of matches and minutes played, goals, assists, injuries, player valuations and contract lengths but i wouldnt put too much into their predictions but overall in my view its actually a pretty great site/utility for analyzing great parts of the game and market.

    1. TransferMarkt’s transfer rumors are not reliable, they’re put in by random users and change if you switch the country. For example, if you’re on tranfemarkt.Uk it’ll show rumours with English teams while transfermarkt.it will show Italian rumours

  2. So much stress they gave us for the past 2months on a player who was still a Youngling …if this deal falls through I hope it was worth it for the Fans sake.
