A contract extension for AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini is thought to be imminent following the takeover of the club, a report claims.
As was reported by Milan News today, Maldini will be sitting down with the club in the very near future to thrash out a new contract as his current contract expires at the end of the month.
It had become a cause for concern that his future was not secure given the wonderful job he has done building a squad for Stefano Pioli that can win the Scudetto.
It seems the main delay was the fact that Elliott Management were in the process of selling the club to RedBird Capital Partners. That deal is now concluded and RedBird founder Gerry Cardinale confirmed that Maldini will be staying at the club.
There is an understanding between Maldini and the club and the deal will assumedly be announced in the coming weeks.
Maldini adalah Bendera dan Simbol Milan , sangat penting posisinya untuk Milan…
