MN: Maldini and Massara meet Roma director – Zaniolo among three names discussed

By Oliver Fisher -

There was an interesting meeting yesterday between Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara and their Roma counterpart Tiago Pinto to discuss several players, a report claims.

MilanNews reports that Alessandro Florenzi was spoken about and the negotiations over his permanent move to the Rossoneri seem to have drawn to a close. Milan have secured a big discount as they will pay €2m and not the €4.5m agreed last summer.

The name of Jordan Veretout is likely to have been discussed too, but he is certainly not among Milan’s favoured targets to replace Franck Kessie.

Maldini, Massara and Pinto spoke about Nicolò Zaniolo as the Rossoneri asked for information for the Giallorossi winger, because his profile is appreciated by the two directors.

At the moment it is difficult to talk about real negotiations, but yesterday’s meeting testifies that the axis between the two clubs is hot and could get hotter.
