AC Milan began a journey two years ago with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara at the helm as the technical and sporting directors respectively, and the desire of all involved is for that to continue.
Calciomercato.com reports how the duo put their skills and knowledge to the test in what is far from an easy role, and they took strong decisions that proved to be instrumental to the continuation of the project, for example letting Gianluigi Donnarumma leave and signing Mike Maignan.
The buzz word at the moment is continuity as seen through the renewal of Theo Hernandez last month that will be followed very soon by Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao. Then it will also be the turn of Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini, whose current agreement with Milan expires at the end of the season.
Both are heading towards an extension of at least three years as a reward for their fantastic work, because from Elliott Management and CEO Ivan Gazidis there is great confidence and satisfaction in the work that they have done.
