Marca: Barcelona to bid for €40m-rated Milan star Theo Hernandez; PSG, Man City also keen

Barcelona are interested in signing left-back Theo Hernandez from AC Milan but they face tough competition, a report claims.

He joined from Real Madrid in the summer for a fee widely reported to be €20million and given that he has already scored six goals in all competitions for the Rossoneri, that appears to be a bargain and a deal which Real Madrid regret.

A recent report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Theo is now worth at least double the fee that Milan paid to sign him, even overtaking his brother Lucas in market value despite the fact he cost Bayern Munich €80m.

According to the latest from Spanish outlet Marca (via Sportsmole), LaLiga giants Barcelona are ready to test the water with a bid for the 22-year-old, with the report also citing a €40m market value.

However, Catalan side could face competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City – both of whom are believed to be in the market for a new left-back – though it is unlikely Milan will part with such an important part of their project for anything other than a ridiculous offer.
