AC Milan are one of the clubs that have been alerted by the declarations of Anthony Martial’s agent, who stated that his client wishes to leave in January.

Calciomercato.it reports how Martial has experienced a difficult last few months because of physical problems and a lot of competition in the squad, having played just 359 minutes of action and scoring just once in the process, which has led him to make considerations over his future.

The player’s agent spoke to Sky Sports in the UK about the situation surrounding the Frenchman and made his intentions very clear: “Anthony wants to leave the club in January. He just needs to play. He does not want to stay in January and I will speak with the club soon.”

The 26-year-old\s contract is due to expire in 2024 but the club have an option for a further year extension, however there is the feeling that the relationship between the parties is in the ‘final stages’.

The Calciomercato report describes it as an ‘important chance’ not only for Juventus but also for Milan who are looking to add some fresher legs to their attack and also for Inter, with all three clubs attentive.
