AC Milan have started planning their summer mercato and one of their priorities is signing a box-to-box midfielder. Therefore, Chelsea man Ruben Loftus-Cheek has ended up on their radar, a report claims.
The 27-year-old has been linked with the Rossoneri for quite some time and the interest is seemingly very concrete. According to Pietro Mazzara of MilanNews, Milan consider him the perfect player but he would need to lower his wages.
Loftus-cheek has played a decent amount for Chelsea this season, including both legs against Milan in the Champions League, but he’s not the main choice. Therefore, he could perhaps agree to lower his salary for consistent playing time.
Milan parted ways with Franck Kessie ahead of the current season and the failure to replace him has showcased itself time after time. The management aims to fix that problem this summer, therefore, and Loftus-Cheek could be the answer given the excellent relations with Chelsea.
