AC Milan could reach the basis of an agreement with Hakan Calhanoglu and his agent over a renewal today, according to a report.
According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), the white smoke for the renewal of Calhanoglu could arrive on Wednesday as, in the next few hours, a new meeting is scheduled between his agent Stipic and the Milan management to discuss the extension of his contract.
The broadcaster goes on to claim that the Turkey international is expected to sign a contract until 2025 and receive a salary of €4million net per season plus €500k in bonuses which has helped to bridge the gap from the initial request.
The hope for Milan is that with the renewal saga behind him, the No.10 will go back to his best form having struggled to be decisive since returning from Coronavirus, bar two assists against Crotone upon his return.
