AC Milan believe they can take advantage of Sandro Tonali’s affinity towards the club to win the race for his signature, a report claims.
Several recent reports have suggested that Tonali is the player Milan have identified as the perfect midfield reinforcement for their project, but the teenager continues to be linked with other clubs such as Juventus, Inter and teams abroad.
According to what SportMediaset are reporting (via MilanLive), Milan are perhaps the club with the least investment opportunities out of the teams in the race, given the well-known economic problems Elliott Management are facing and the obligation to bring the accounts back into the green.
Milan, however, believe that they can focus on Tonali’s heart. He is a big Rossoneri fan, something he has openly admitted on numerous occasions, and he models his game on Gennaro Gattuso.
Tonali therefore gives priority to Milan, which in addition to welcoming him as a budding champion would guarantee him an immediate starting position, unlike Inter or Juve.
The deal is therefore possible, especially with a project that wants to build around young players. Now, the only obstacle is his €50million price tag.
