Mediaset: Confidence that Donnarumma’s renewal will be agreed soon – the figures

By Oliver Fisher -

This week could be a crucial week in the situation regarding Gianluigi Donnarumma’s renewal at AC Milan, according to one journalist.

Milan face a similar situation to the one they did in 2017 as Donnarumma’s contract is winding down and as soon as we hit January, he will be free to sign a contract with another club.

According to what Claudio Raimondi of SportMediaset has told MilanNews, something will have to move over the international break because it is the last stop before the window reopens.

He does add that he has ‘no doubt’ that it will be the week that movement happens, adding that Antonio Donnarumma will not be kept and therefore that €1million that he earns will go to constitute a small increase for his younger brother, then there will be another €1million already spared so it would be around €8m per year net in total.

The right formula will be found through the bonuses that his agent Mino Raiola is not keen on, but only through those can Milan come close to the €10m that Raiola is demanding.

“I have enough confidence that it will go through,” Raimondi adds.
