Mediaset: De Ketelaere ultimatum, Chukwuemeka, Ziyech and more – latest on Milan’s market

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are only waiting to wait a little while longer before abandoning their pursuit of Charles De Ketelaere, a report claims.

According to a report from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have decided to raise their offer for De Ketelaere up to €33m including bonuses and a percentage on a future resale, which means that they are now very close to the €35m that Club Brugge are asking for.

However, they add that Milan expects a positive response from the Belgian club by tomorrow, otherwise they will abandon the De Ketelaere talks altogether and will go all-in on Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea instead.

Meanwhile, Renato Sanches is fading as an option for Milan because he is expected to sign for PSG by Wednesday on a €5m net per season deal, which is not far from double the €3m per year Milan offered. Carney Chukwuemeka – an 18-year-old Aston Villa midfielder – is an alternative and could arrive for €15m.

Japhet Tanganga is the main name for the centre-back role and he made it clear to Spurs that he wants to wear the Rossoneri shirt despite the pressure from Valencia and Everton.

  1. I agree to sign Carney Chukwuemeka than Renato Sanches. We need 4th pivots, a young & high prospect pivot. Even if we sign Renato Sanches, i dont think he can replace Tonali or Bennacer easily.

And Yacine Adli’s form at preseason is great, remind me when we still have Hakan Calhanoglu : an AMC that can create many key passes & aware of spaces and team-mates movements.

    1. Hakan couldn’t find team mates more than once in every 10 passes. Key passes? I don’t he gave any during his stay in Milan. =D

  2. Milan aren’t going to sign an unproven player whose available for nothing in a year for €15 million. Think about stories before printing rubbish.

  3. Good! At last we will no longer have 5 articles a day on Renato. The saga should be over and it’s excellent news! Let’s move on !

As for CDK, hope Milan know their own mind, it would be a huge mistake to lose out on this opportunity for only €2 Mio

  4. from what I heard from Aston Villa fans, Carney Chukwuemeka is considered a primadonna and a hot-head. Gave me a bit of vibes like Milos Kerkez. That said, he’s a young player so maybe he’ll change for better ???

On the other hand, I also read that he might be available for less than 1 mill to teams outside of UK, not sure exactly. So far, seems like Barca has been pursuing him aggressively…I’d say for the price mentioned, less than 20% chance of us getting him.

Renato Sanches, I don’t care either way whether he comes or not, Mendes seems to be the same as Raiola …

  5. This Milan mercato is the most disgraceful.

Sanchez is more technical and more experienced than all the midfeilders we have, he will be a huge quality addition but let’s miss out on him as usual because of 1m which we are saving to us to buy another player who we will also want to save another 1m from….cock and bull stories.

They will still want Aston villa to give them Carney for 3m instead of 15, then they will offer Carney 50k as salary then Aston villa will refuse then mediocre fans will come and type “let him go, he likes money too much” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Let this mecato finish, the embarasment is too much

Many pundits used to say the exact same thing about Theo Hernandez, did you know that?
