Ralf Rangnick one step away from Milan, a report claims, as all the recent speculation has turned into concrete facts.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanLive), everything is ready for the final agreement between Milan and the German, who in the next few days will fly directly to London to talk in first person with Gordon Singer, one of the major exponents of Elliott Management.

Singer will put a formal contract offer on the plate to make Rangnick the next Milan manager, a three-year deal worth a total of €6million.

Apart from this, other points will also be discussed. Rangnick will have to review the request to bring 18 collaborators with him across the technical area and management.

Elliott are pushing for the promotion of two members of current management, namely chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and Gazidis’ right-hand man Henrik Almstadt. Franco Baresi and Daniele Massaro – two symbols of the old and historic Milan – will also enter the picture with roles closer to the team .

Everything is ok regarding the project: there is harmony on the idea of building a young team with a bright future, something which would not exclude the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic .

Ibra can remain, even in Rangnick’s plans, as long as the Swede accepts the role of mentor. In addition, there is €100m ready for the summer window.
