Mediaset: Family life pushes Theo towards Milan stay – the club’s stance

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez is without doubt one of the best in the world in his position, and this has led to reports that clubs could test AC Milan with bids during the summer.

Theo has been with Milan since 2019, having arrived from Real Madrid at the age of 21. The Frenchman soon climbed the ranks, establishing himself as one of the fans’ favorites and among the most talented players in the squad.

His contribution in the Scudetto season was particularly important, while his bond with the team and the city has become increasingly consolidated.

According to SportMediaset (via NotizieMilan), his partner Zoe Cristofoli is very happy to be in Milano, having integrated wonderfully into the social fabric of the Lombardy capital. This factor alone could push Theo to remain regardless of the other offers that arrive.

However, nothing in football is certain despite the desire of both the player and his family to stay in Italy, because a ‘crazy offer’ everything could change. Milan consider a big offer to be around €100m, which they think is fitting for a player of his quality.

Theo, in whom there has been an interest from Bayern Munich, is among the best performers in his role, also having a notable knack for getting on the scoresheet too with goals and assists.

This comes after reports earlier today that Rafael Leao also wishes to remain at Milan beyond the end of this season, and Mike Maignan too is not thinking about leaving any time soon.

  1. None of our best players want to leave the club!?!
    Huh!
We were told last summer that they will all want to leave as fast as they can because a director was fired.

  2. If he’s not sold in summer, his contract should be renewed. A player of his calibre needs to be happy to be motivated, and trust is a two way street.

Give him the best offer that we think he’s worth and put a release clause on his contract… dunno, 80 million. That way, if he feels that the club is not growing, he’d be free to leave.

If we don’t renew, in 2025 Milan would be lucky if we can sell him for 40 million

  3. Don’t sell. Renew and build around. Players like him you gotta keep. Out of our, so called, wc players he is the most consistent and versatile

  4. It really doesn’t matter does it? No one is unsellable. They alread have replacements lined up in case they receive an “irrefutable” offer for Theo. A cheap one and a slightly less cheap one.

  5. Zoe wears the pants in that relationship. You can tell. And she has a business(es) in Milan, I believe a tattoo parlor. So yeah, she isn’t moving and by default neither is Theo.

We should make her an honorary Milanista.

    1. Why can’t people like you keep it to yourself?
You don’t like tattoos. Wow, so original, share it with the world… you people are almost as bad as the vegans

      1. Actually,

It barely existed a decade ago. No one is thinking about dramatic change that occurs that quickly, and change like that never happens organically or for a good reason.

        It’s vile.

          1. They must have stopped…and then started again a decade ago.

I’m sure it’s all perfectly normal. It’s not like impressionable people have fallen for anything before, is it?

  6. Good job Zoe. Now it is up to management renew him, he deserve same salary with leao . Theo play without vice or rotation this season

  7. I would keep Theo and if necessary sell Mangian, he has decreased in his performance this season. And in my opinion he is replaceable, not like Theo and Leao. With Mike’s income we could get another good goalkeeper and a central defender.
