Mediaset: How much Milan want to earn from the sale of Saelemaekers

By Oliver Fisher -

The hottest track on the exit front at the moment for AC Milan seems to be the one that could take Alexis Saelemaekers to Real Betis.

Before reading the update below, it is worth checking out our latest Substack piece on Saelemaekers as well as Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere, which has some exclusive info on their respective situations.

According to SportMediaset (via PianetaMilan), several clubs have shown interest in Saelemaekers in recent days. After the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze and Christian Pulisic for the right wing, the Belgian ended up on the fringes of Stefano Pioli’s plans.

The winger has training separately for the last few days along with the other players that have been told to find a new club, and he was left out entirely of the squad for the game against Bologna on Monday night.

The interest of Betis is confirmed, and Milan have made it clear that they are looking for somewhere in the region of €7-10m to let the 24-year-old leave.

The Andalusian club are yet to formulate the first offer, but now know how much they will have to pay.

  1. i think that 8-10mil is not enough for him. i know that not a lot of clubs are in for him. but we paid 7 mil for him and we will only get 1-3 mil profit off him? i would keep him as back up for chuku and even calabria

    1. saelesmaker wants to be a starter. he was unhappy last season after his injury, because messias was drafted more than him.

there might be a fallout between him and coach. coach wants to convert him to RB, but he doesnt want to, hence the transfer
