Mediaset: Milan and Ibrahimovic reach agreement over renewal – the figures

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and agent Mino Raiola over a new deal, a report claims.

Now, the countdown to the official confirmation begins. SportMediaset (via MilanLive) are reporting that after weeks of negotiations, the striker is ready to sign on the dotted line and extend his agreement.

They claim that the talks will reach a ‘definitive and positive conclusion’ within days, as the 38-year-old has reached basic agreement with the Milan management.

It is on the basis of a one-year extension until June 2021, which will start from a fixed base salary of between €4.5 and €5m net. To this, several bonuses will be added related to the results of the club and personal goals too, which will bring the total salary up to around €6m.

Ibrahimovic’s desire to stay part of Pioli’s Milan project was decisive. Mino Raiola has also been convinced, so Zlatan is now ready to sign the renewal.
