AC Milan could close a deal for Mohamed Simakan in the next 48 hours and the player would be ready to fly for his medical, a report claims.
We reported yesterday that Milan are continuing contacts for Simakan and are dealing with Strasbourg, and that while the interest of RB Leipzig has also been confirmed, at the moment it is the Rossoneri who seem more determined to close the deal.
According to broadcaster SportMediaset (via TransferZone on Twitter), Milan have offered €14million plus €3million in bonuses to try and land the 20-year-old Frenchman, who is top of their wish list in January.
He could arrive as early as Thursday for medical examinations if the final agreement is found, and the player has his heart set on a move to the Rossoneri despite the interest of Bundesliga side Leipzig.
Simakan also posted a cryptic Instagram update earlier today suggesting that something is in the pipeline.
