Mediaset: Milan consider move to snatch major Man Utd midfield target from Juventus

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are reportedly weighing up a move for Juventus midfielder Emre Can who has become disillusioned with life at the club.

It was reported in November by Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport that the Rossoneri are one of a number of clubs monitoring the situation of the German international.

We also revealed in the same month via our mercato expert Vito Angele – who cited sources in Turkey – that the former Liverpool man is pushing to change teams in January to return to being a key player, and Milan may pounce.

With that background information, SportMediaset are now reporting (via MilanNews.it) that Can could be allowed to leave this month having not featured in the plans of Maurizio Sarri.

Milan are a potential destination for the 26-year-old as he would find more space to play and would not risk losing ground in view of the European Championships this summer.

The Rossoneri tried to sign Can in the summer and are thinking about it even now, while reports in England are stating Manchester United are keen on the idea of signing him, though it will be difficult due to his former Liverpool connections.
