Mediaset: Milan could move for Cagliari midfielder without Tonali agreement

Milan are currently in negotiations with Brescia to lower the overall price tag of Sandro Tonali, something that the Serie B side hasn’t appreciated. And as a result, the midfielder’s future is suddenly uncertain.

According to reports from SportMediaset, as cited by MilanLive, Milan are keeping tabs on Cagliari midfielder Razvan Marin in the meantime. More so than a replacement for Soualiho Meite, he could be the alternative to Sandro Tonali.

As mentioned, the Rossoneri are negotiating with Brescia and are yet to reach an agreement on the Tonali buy-out. Should they fail to close the deal, then they could make a serious attempt to sign Marin this summer.

Cagliari recently redeemed the player for €10m and now value him at €20m, after what was an impressive season. That demand could perhaps be lowered by some bonuses or a few technical counterparts, but for now it remains just an idea.
