Tuttosport: Torino’s demands revealed as Milan continue to monitor Belotti

By Isak Möller -

Andrea Belotti is destined to leave Torino this summer after many years of being linked with big clubs, but never taking the step. Milan have been following him for a long time and now they could finally make a move.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be able to play every game next season and the Rossoneri have identified Olivier Giroud as the right solution to solve that. However, the Frenchman wouldn’t be a long-term solution, which Milan would eventually need.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are this monitoring several players and Belotti is one of them. Torino have already rejected an offer of €15m plus €3m in bonuses for the striker, which arrived from Roma.

However, if an offer of €20m cash arrives then Belotti could leave, at least if some bonuses or a counterpart are included as well. It remains to be seen if Milan will make a serious attempt for the boyhood Rossoneri fan this summer.

  1. Unless his wage demands are prohibitive, then that would seem a relative bargain in today’s market. Admittedly he’s unlikely to have a big resale value in a few years, but he’s a proven Serie A goalscorer who’s been so consistent for years.

    1. Exactly. I’d rather have him than Giroud. We need to think long term. I’d also rather have Dzeko than Giroud. But Kaljdzic of Stuttgart is also on the radar now. He’s 24 and looks like a proper replacement for Zlatan.
