Mediaset: Milan could move for Cagliari midfielder without Tonali agreement

By Isak Möller -

Milan are currently in negotiations with Brescia to lower the overall price tag of Sandro Tonali, something that the Serie B side hasn’t appreciated. And as a result, the midfielder’s future is suddenly uncertain.

According to reports from SportMediaset, as cited by MilanLive, Milan are keeping tabs on Cagliari midfielder Razvan Marin in the meantime. More so than a replacement for Soualiho Meite, he could be the alternative to Sandro Tonali.

As mentioned, the Rossoneri are negotiating with Brescia and are yet to reach an agreement on the Tonali buy-out. Should they fail to close the deal, then they could make a serious attempt to sign Marin this summer.

Cagliari recently redeemed the player for €10m and now value him at €20m, after what was an impressive season. That demand could perhaps be lowered by some bonuses or a few technical counterparts, but for now it remains just an idea.

  1. FOR F*** SAKE! Sign Tonali up!! if its merely 5M, what are we waiting for?? He is a future asset, have we not learned anything from the Locatelli debacle??

    Sign Tonali and move on!

    1. I agree. I don’t think this is anything more than a newspaper story. Give up on Tonali that already cost 10M for the loan, to sign another player for more money and again take a chance. If the other option was a really proven player I might believe it.

  2. What a joke….we can’t pay for Tonali after all that fuss last summer? Sign this kid how ridiculous. Sell the fkn club Elliot

  3. I tell you what? This bastard Elliot will ruin Milan if this persists. Why playing hard balls on what supposed to be a smart buy? We are back to the champions league where we rightly belong, and we’re observing the worst case scenario. Elliot my foot what a shameful personnel. Please sell out our beloved team to those who will replicate our history.

  4. Tonali should’ve have been the first purchase even before Tomori considering the circumstances behind his Loan move to milan. I just hope all these are mere news. We are back to Champions League and we need a competitive team with quality depth if we would even fight to reach 2nd round. Elliot please don’t let us down.
