AC Milan could strike an agreement with Hakan Calhanoglu and his entourage over the renewal of his contract today, according to a report.
Calhanoglu has amassed a combined 15 goals and assists in 24 games for the Rossoneri across all competitions so far this season, but there has been worry among fans over the past few weeks as the negotiation regarding a new deal has been dragging on for some time now.
According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Calhanoglu’s agent will be at Casa Milan on Wednesday to continue conversations held over the phone and hopefully find the white smoke and it should arrive today.
Calhanoglu currently earns €2.5million a year net, while Milan offered €4m in their latest bid which is €2m short of Calhanoglu’s request. The feeling is that it can be closed at €5m, because Milan consider the Turkey international to be a key player.
