AC Milan are interested in signing Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa in the upcoming summer mercato, according to a report.
The Rossoneri have gone from planning a big overhaul under Ralf Rangnick to sticking with Stefano Pioli as the head coach and perhaps looking more to fine tune the current squad ahead of the new season.
According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have joined Juventus in the race to land Federico Chiesa this summer. If Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains into next season as is currently expected, Milan will look for a quality right winger to add to their ranks.
The Italy international could play wide on the right in Pioli’s 4-2-3-1, with Castillejo and Saelemaekers as alternatives. A sensational double deal with La Viola is possible: Nikola Milenkovic and Chiesa to San Siro, with Rafael Leao and Lucas Paquetà going to play in Florence.
The two clubs would have talked about it, even if it is early to talk about real negotiations in progress.
