AC Milan remain optimistic that they will sign Charles De Ketelaere and once he is over the line they will turn to other objectives, a report claims.
According to SportMediaset (via MilanLive), Milan are ready to slightly raise their previous offer to €30m for De Ketelaere and they will insert bonuses plus a potential percentage on the future resale of the Belgian playmaker.
Milan will prepare the new bid this weekend and will wait for De Ketelaere to play the final of the Belgian Super Cup between Brugge and Gent, with the hope of closing the deal by the middle of next week.
The Rossoneri are very close to signing the 21-year-old and once that operation is closed, Milan will focus on the midfield. The name of Renato Sanches always remains in pole position especially given that PSG seem more keen on Kephren Thuram, but Sanches is asking for €4.5m net per season through his agent Jorge Mendes.
