Mediaset: Milan, Inter want €70m Italy star but Juventus are in pole with swap deal possible

By Oliver Fisher -

Fiorentina have set a high asking price for star winger Federico Chiesa amid reports AC Milan are firmly in the running for his signature.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for Chiesa by a number of different outlets over the last few days, as the 22-year-old is a player that Stefano Pioli knows well from his time in charge of Fiorentina.

Milan are believed to be keen on upgrading their right wing position, but according to the latest from SportMediaset (via PianetaMilan), Chiesa will not come cheap as he is valued at up to €70m.

Not only that, but the competition is fierce. Juventus, Inter and some Premier League teams are also named as having an interest but if there is a team that are ahead of the others currently, it is Juventus.

The reason is simple: the Bianconeri have counterparts that interest La Viola and could be inserted into the deal to finally make Rocco Commisso give in and sell his prized forward.

The players are Cristian Romero – who returned from his loan at Genoa – as well as Daniele Rugani and Rolando Mandragora.
