Mediaset: Milan retain interest in €7-8m Atalanta forward but there is a difference in valuation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan maintain an interest in signing Josip Ilicic from Atalanta but there is no agreement on his valuation, according to a report.

Ilicic has 56 goals and 39 assists in 149 games for La Dea but appears destined to depart La Dea due to his non-ideal relationship with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who relied on him less and less as the season went on.

According to what SportMediaset (via MilanNews) are reporting, Milan remain vigilant regarding the situation of the Slovenia international as he is likely to leave the club this summer. At the moment, however, there is distance between the two clubs regarding the evaluation of the forward.

The Bergamo side are asking for €7-8m to let him go but the Rossoneri were hoping for a lower fee, given that he is destined to leave as Gasperini appears to have little interest in keeping him around.
