By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a serious interest in snatching the signing of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali from under the noses of rivals Inter, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are expected to reinforce their midfield department this summer as Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura both appear set to leave the club on free transfers as things stand.

A name that he been repeatedly linked over the past few months is Brescia sensation Sandro Tonali, and according to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan are ready to get involved in a transfer battle for the 20-year-old’s signature.

The outlet reports that the name has ‘made a comeback’ among those who will lead the market for Milan, but that their city rivals Inter are currently leading the race, with the Nerazzurri having offered €32million plus €2m bonuses.

Maldini allegedly contacted the agent who manages the Brescia midfielder, explaining that the Rossoneri are very interested in the player. Therefore, it is shaping up to be a real market derby with the Nerazzurri on Tonali.
