Mediaset: Milan will go back in for Chelsea outcast once midfielder leaves as PSG go cold

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will turn back to completing a deal for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko after selling Lucas Paqueta, a report claims.

MilanNews recently reported that PSG’s Leonardo has made a sizeable offer for Bakayoko. The former Milan sporting director has put on the plate a paid loan of €5m plus an option to buy at €40m, and are now in negotiations with both the player and Chelsea.

According to reports from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), once the transfer of Lucas Paquetà to Lyon is closed, Milan will go back in strongly for Bakayoko, the first choice target for the midfield.

In recent days there has been an enquiry by PSG where there is Leonardo who knows him well, but their head coach Thomas Tuchel would like a midfielder with other characteristics, suggesting that Milan are still in pole position to land him should they go back with the right offer.
