Mediaset: Milan working with Raiola on deal for Dortmund star Haaland – Leao involved

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are seriously thinking about an attempt to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, according to a report.

Calciomercato.it reported recently that ‘Haaland is the dream for the post-Ibra era’, adding that the Borussia Dortmund star is a possibility when looking at centre-forwards to replace the Swede, who is 39 years of age.

Claudio Raimondi (via PianetaMilan) then confirmed earlier today thatMilan are interested in Haaland, a player represented by Mino Raiola and who is very good friends with winger Jens Petter Hauge.

He even stated that Haaland continues to ask Hauge for information about the club, and that Dortmund’s sacking of Lucien Favre means a sensational scenario could occur.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via journalist Daniele Triolo on Twitter), Milan are working with Raiola for the signing of Haaland next summer.

There is no €75million release clause in his contract with Dortmund, and Rafael Leao would be included in any potential deal to bring down the asking price.
