Luka Modric has rejected the idea of a move to AC Milan this summer, according to one journalist.
Reports earlier on Monday claimed that Milan’s leadership met with Predrag Mijatovic, the former Real Madrid striker who now works as an intermediary with Vlado Lemic.
Lemic is a famous agent who represents several big players from the Balkans such as Modric, Dejan Lovren and Nemanja Matic.
There were suggestions that the meeting was used as a potential enquiry over Modric, who was linked with a move to rivals Inter last season.
However, according to a report by Claudio Raimondi for SportMediaset, Modric’s response to the Rossoneri proposal was a kind “No, thank you”.
This is despite his friendship with new Rossoneri director Boban, who apparently rang the player last night to propose a move to San Siro.
