Mediaset: Plan emerges as Milan will begin Chukwueze and Frattesi talks imminently

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are pushing ahead on a couple of different fronts as they look to rebuild the squad after Sandro Tonali’s exit, according to a report.

According to what Claudio Raimondi reported on SportMediaset (via MilanNews), the Milan management are ready to make an official move for Samuel Chukwueze as early as this afternoon.

Talks between the Rossoneri and Villarreal are expected in the next few hours to try to unblock the negotiation. Milan already have an agreement with the Nigeria international and want to close at €25m, with the asking price currently €30m.

He also reports that Milan are ready to enter the race for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, who Inter, Juventus and Roma are also following.

Tomorrow there could be discussions between the two clubs to understand the feasibility of the deal. The Rossoneri would like to include a counterpart such as Lorenzo Colombo, Daniel Maldini or Tommaso Pobega in the negotiation to lower the cash outlay.
