Mediaset: RB Leipzig man the alternative as Milan see bid for €30m playmaker shot down

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have seen an offer for CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic rejected, according to a report.

The latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews) confirms that Milan are very interested in signing Vlasic, but they will have to convince CSKA who want €30m in order to sell the Croatia international.

The Milan management are working on a more advantageous formula: a paid loan with option to buy that would become an obligation in the event that the Rossoneri qualify for the 2022-23 edition of the Champions League.

However, Milan’s proposal has been rejected by the Russian capital club so for now the alternative seems to be Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig. Meanwhile, the broadcaster also adds that the track leading to Hakim Ziyech has cooled because Chelsea will not open to a loan deal until they someone for the attack, and Isco’s salary is too high to pursue anything concrete.
