AC Milan are hoping to end the season on a high with three points against Hellas Verona on Sunday night, and they should be backed by a sell-out crowd.
It looked a couple of weeks ago like being a match that would be crucial for both teams given that Milan were in a heated battle for the top four and Verona were (and still are) fighting to avoid the drop, but the win against Juventus means a Champions League place is already in the bad.
According to SportMediaset (via PianetaMilan), the fans do not want to miss out on the chance to show their appreciation to the players after a rollercoaster season domestically and in Europe.
It is expected that San Siro will be sold out for Milan’s last match of the 2022-23 season, with over 70,000 fans expected to be present for what could be the last appearance in a red and black shirt for some of the players.
