Mediaset: Trio of European juggernauts want Donnarumma amid Chelsea, Man Utd links

By Oliver Fisher -

Three suitors are waiting at the window as the Gianluigi Donnarumma sweepstakes are ready to commence this summer, a report claims.

Despite once again reiterating his love for AC Milan during a Q&A session with fans, Donnarumma’s future appears to be away from the club.

His contract expires in June 2021 so the Rossoneri have to either find a way to agree a renewal before the start of next season (whenever that may be) or sell him in the upcoming window so the 21-year-old doesn’t leave for free.

As SportMediaset notes (via MilanLive), there are three teams that are monitoring the situation and are ready to move; namely Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus.

The Ligue 1 giants want a young and prospective number one who can take the place of the experiences Keylor Navas, while Real are the club who have followed Gigio for the longest time. Finally Juve, a historical rival of Milan, dreams of snatching their heir to Buffon despite Szczesny’s recent renewal.

Ultimately, the final decision on Donnarumma does not seem to be in the hands of Milan. Meanwhile Tuttosport claimed on Thursday that Chelsea are ready to make an offer for Donnarumma however Real Madrid and PSG will provide competition, while the Express are reporting that Manchester United are also interested.
