MN: Messias and Krunic battling to start for Milan against Verona

By Euan Burns -

Junior Messias and Rade Krunic are battling to start for AC Milan against Hellas Verona on Sunday evening, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, one of the major selection decisions that Stefano Pioli needs to make for the match at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi relates to the right wing.

The coach must decide if he wants to start with Krunic in the trequartista role or with Messias on the right wing and Brahim Diaz in the middle.

It is expected that the decision will be made during the final training session on Saturday ahead of the game.

The coach is trying all that he can to balance the squad with so many games being played in close succession and the injuries that he has had to contend with.

Messias is one of the players that has been out injured but he is up for selection again.
