Messias insists Milan must show ‘attention and concentration’ to beat Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan forward Junior Messias has stressed the importance of going out there with the right ‘attitude’ in order to get a result against Napoli tonight.

Messias spoke during a short interview with Milan TV prior to the game against Luciano Spalletti’s side, beginning by recapping how the week of training went, with his comments relayed by MilanNews and translated below.

“We are fine, we worked well after the two days of rest and we are ready,” he said.

“Today the attitude to be put on the field will be very important, it takes attention and concentration and the desire to do well. We also had a good first half [of the season]. Whoever pays more attention and is more ruthless on the pitch will win the game.”

Messias was also interviewed by DAZN in the pre-match coverage.

“You always need quality, the right attitude and the approach to the game: it will be important today. I don’t see any problems. All teams go through moments when things don’t go well. We work hard during the week, for me there are no problems,” he said.

  1. You were toothless throughout the whole match, playing like a chicken. What’s happening to you? You waited for this opportunity all your life and you are now slacking?
You need more heart bro. Drive in, dribble, run like you gonna die, do all you can and maybe you can help make Milan great again. Stop being conservative and explode!
