Report: Milan table €15m contract offer to Ajax star but Barcelona lead the race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have tabled a contract offer to Noussair Mazraoui who will leave Ajax at the end of the season, according to a report.

Fabrizio Romano of Sky Italia first reported that Milan are in the race together with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona to sign Noussair Mazraoui as a free agent, adding that nothing has been agreed between the player and any club with the race ‘still open’ and that he will take his time to decide what is best for his future.

Now, Rudy Galetti has revealed some details on the offer that the Rossoneri have put forward to the 24-year-old. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have made a bid of a five-year deal at €3m net per season, therefore a €15m net commitment.

However, the journalist adds that Barcelona are leading the race for the Ajax player and they want to close the agreement quickly to beat the competition.

  1. I’m reading a lot about Milan looking to sign Mazraoui (also Singo); now according to this they’re offering Mazraoui a higher salary than Calabria’s who was renewed very recently, it’s strange. I doubt they’re thinking about Mazraoui as a sub for Calabria if his salary is really set to be higher than Calabria’s. Calabria has struggled with injury issues this season but I’ve always thought his starter position was not in dispute, but the management seems strangely eager to sign players in that position 🤔

  2. In my opinion,
Wilfred (Singo) way better than this “so-called” gem of Ajax. Almost in any aspects. And he could be convinced way lower than this man.

Since Calabria concerned more about injuries. Singo is the first option to think about.
