CorSera: Milan to submit €35m offer for No.1 target today – deal could be closed soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to close the operation for Charles De Ketelaere by the end of Tuesday and they are confident of doing so, a report claims.

According to Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri management want to have the deal for De Ketelaere wrapped up in the next 48 hours. The playmaker remained on the bench as an unused substitute during the Super Cup win against Gent, which could well be a sign.

In fact, the Belgian champions did not want to risk anything with the player, given that his transfer to Milan is seemingly imminent. The paper adds that the Rossoneri will send a proposal worth €30m plus €5m bonuses today.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara believe that is the amount needed to bring down the resistance of Brugge and to get things over the line. De Ketelaere’s agents have already found total agreement with Milan over terms, so that part will not be a problem.
