It was on this day six years ago that AC Milan lifted the Supercoppa Italiana after a penalty shootout win against Juventus in Doha.
Giorgio Chiellini gave Juve a lead after 18 minutes but Giacomo Bonaventura equalised 20 minutes after that, with the game finishing 1-1 and heading to penalties after a goalless extra-time.
In the shootout the Bianconeri got the early advantage after Claudio Marchisio scored and Gianluca Lapadula missed, but Milan would go on to score their next four penalties and Mario Pasalic had the joy of smashing home the winning spot kick.
Milan have published a video taking a look back at the Supercoppa win, with Primavera boss Ignazio Abate – who started that game – talking us through it…
