GdS: Milan could terminate loan of midfielder to help during Kessie and Bennacer’s absence

By Oliver Fisher -

It has once again been suggested that AC Milan could bring forward the arrival of Yacine Adli by ending his loan at Bordeaux early.

Milan signed Adli from Bordeaux during the summer transfer window but it was stipulated as part of the operation that he remained on loan until the end of this season with the Ligue 1 club, where he has four goal contributions in 13 games including three assists.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the agreement between Milan and Bordeaux could be revised if necessary. The management know that Franck Kessié and Ismaël Bennacer will leave for a few weeks in January as they represent the Ivory Coast and Algeria respectively at the African Cup of Nations.

Adli’s mind will obviously already be on his future with the Rossoneri and it could be that Bordeaux accept the idea of letting him go early, but they could also put up a very strong resistance given his importance.
