CM: Milan go all-in for De Ketelaere – new bid and five-year deal agreed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are no longer treading carefully and weighing up their options: they are going full speed ahead to try and sign Charles De Ketelaere.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have ‘broken the delay’ and are increasing the pressure to sign the Belgium international, who is now their ‘absolute priority’ with regards to the summer mercato. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to get CDK over the line, and then they will think about the remaining needs on the market.

Milan have further upped the ante with a second offer which is worth around €30m including bonuses. Club Brugge have sounded the willingness of two potential counterparts in Emil Roback and Andreas Jungdal – both from the Primavera – but at the moment they not essential for the success of the operation.

De Ketelaere already has an agreement principle with Milan for a five-year contract and is now waiting for the green light from Brugge, which could arrive this week.

  1. He is Riccardo Kaka’s heir. Milan will sign Ziyech in addition to win the champions league, Scudetto, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Italian Super Cup, Coppa Italia

  2. Include a buyback for 10M for those players, you never know who will become a superstar. Milan lost a few of their youth products for nothing or a few million € and didn’t have anything from that.
