SM: Milan hoping to announce renewal of centre-back in the coming days – the figures

By SempreMilan -

AC Milan are hoping to announce the renewal of defender Pierre Kalulu in the next few days after he has completed international duty.

Kalulu is celebrating qualification with France U21s for the next European Championships and soon he will jet off for his summer holidays, but first the renewal with Milan could arrive. The 21-year-old was one of the protagonists of the Scudetto win, starting as a full-back and then partnering Fikayo Tomori during an injury crisis.

The defender is appreciated by his team-mates and Stefano Pioli, carving out a central position in the project moving forward and also clearly entering the radar of his national team given he is now a starter for France U21s.

According to the information of our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Kalulu could briefly return to Milan to sign his new contract before then going on a well-deserved holiday.

The new deal should bind him to Milan until 2026 with a salary doubled compared to the current €600k net per season he gets. The former Lyon defender will earn €1.2m plus bonuses linked to individual and team objectives.

  1. chill bro it’s all calculated the club still does not make a lot of money and with a new defender joining the squad a first sub for the centre back and for Calabria so 1.2 mill + bonuses it’ll get to 2 mill it is enough for a sub at AC MILAN at this moment
