Daily Mail: Milan eyeing Arsenal winger with 3 goals in 5 Premier League games on a free

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan continue to be linked with wingers ahead of the summer transfer window and Reiss Nelson of Arsenal is reportedly the latest target.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Arsenal have offered Nelson a new contract but there are doubts about his future at the club given his lack of playing time, which has seen him play five times in the Premier League this season despite scoring three.

The 23-year-old’s contract runs out at the end of the season and his ‘preference’ is to stay with the Gunners in spite of the fact that he has not featured much under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal have offered Nelson an increase on his current deal, which is believed to be worth around £35k per week (€40k).

Aston Villa, Fulham, West Ham and Brighton are among the Premier League sides who are keen on what would be a free transfer, but Milan are mentioned as ‘monitoring his situation’.

Nelson is ‘settled in London’ and might not want to move abroad again after his loan spells at Hoffenheim and Feyenoord/
