Tuttosport: Milan back on the trail of €35m Eintracht Frankfurt star amid Origi worries

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could well be active in the summer transfer window given the doubts about Divock Origi since his arrival, a report claims.

According to reports from Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, Milan are once again on the trail of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani. The player had already been approached by the Rossoneri management when he was at FC Nantes before heading to Germany instead.

Since Oliver Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are 36 and 41 respectively and Origi is taking longer than expected to hit any kind of form, Kolo Muani could prove to be an ideal profile for the club.

He is physically strong but also has excellent technique, having scored 5 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances but with 9 assists as well.

According to the paper, his price tag is €35m and even his salary, on paper, is sustainable for Milan should they choose to turn their interest into something more concrete.

  2. 5 goals in 14 games isn’t exactly world beating. I appreciate the assists figure, but we need a goal scorer to lead the line.
