By Nikita Fesyukov -

Yesterday it was revealed by Sky Sport‘s Gianluca Di Marzio that AC Milan are interested in acquiring the services of Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren in the upcoming summer transfer market. Today, there are new details on the Rossoneri’s pursuit of the Croatian defender.

According to the same source, Milan have started preliminary negotiations with the agent of the player, as Lovren could leave Anfield Road this summer and could represent an addition for the new Milan of Marco Giampaolo.

Meanwhile, according to reports from England, in particular, The Times, Liverpool have set a price tag of £25 million for Lovren and are not in too much rush to push the player out of the club.

The 29-year-old featured mainly as a substitute for the European champions last season, starting in 18 matches across all competitions for the Reds. Previously, the Croat featured in Southampton where he moved from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the summer of 2013.
