Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has ruled out a move for Rodrigo De Paul amid recent reports that he is a target for AC Milan.
Sky Italia‘s market expert Luca Marchetti recently claimed that Paolo Maldini and the rest of the leadership are considering a move for De Paul as an alternative to Angel Correa.
On Friday, the reliable Anto Vitiello confirmed to MilanNews.it that Milan are now looking for an alternative to Correa as the operation with Atletico has run aground.
Calciomercato.com then stated that Milan are interested in Correa’s Argentina team-mate De Paul, who would cost €35-40m.
Tuttomercatoweb claimed on Thursday that Fiorentina have stepped up talks for the Udinese star, but now Prade has poured cold water on those rumours.
“He doesn’t come, I doubt you right away,” he said during the presentation of Dalbert, via MilanNews.it.
“He is not alive despite his excellent relationship with Pozzo. There is no possibility to take it.”
