AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is hoping to get Ante Rebic back into his top gear for the last nine game of the season, according to a report.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Croatian continues to show excellent things in training, but so far he has been unable to replicate them on the pitch since he came back from the injury that kept him out for several weeks.
In his first two seasons at the club Rebic already shown that he can be a reliable weapon in the crucial part of the season, having scored double figures in goals in both 2019-20 and 2020-21, and everyone at Milanello is looking to see a change of gear in the next few matches.
If he were to continue to struggle, it cannot be ruled out that Milan may also make their assessments on him in view of the summer transfer window as a number of wingers continue to be linked.
