Tiemoue Bakayoko’s future is something that will be spoken about next month but one solution seems to have already been discarded, a report claims.
Calciomercato.com report that the situation of Bakayoko is a real problem for the Rossoneri. Last summer, despite knowing that he was not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans, he declined various offers such as one from Olympiacos and also the termination of his contract with Chelsea.
It is a choice that was certainly not very productive from a sporting point of view because now the former Monaco man is stuck on the sidelines, having not made even a single appearance this season so far.
Bakayoko’s representatives have been working for several weeks to find a solution. Olympiacos remain interested but it is Vincenzo Montella’s Adana Dermispor that have taken the most concrete steps by presenting an offer to the midfielder.
However, Bakayoko has other ideas in mind than a move to Turkey, so Maldini and Massara now have to resolve an intricate situation. Stefano Pioli would like a smaller and more cohesive squad, and shipping him out would also save a lot on salary.
